Workplace Mobbing and Neurodiversity
Why neurodivergent individuals are often targets of workplace bullying and how to protect your rights and mental health.
The Cost of Being 'Different'
Research shows that neurodivergent employees (ADHD, Autistic, Dyslexic) are disproportionately targeted for Workplace Mobbing. Why? Because our biological differences are often misinterpreted as character flaws.
The 'Justice' Factor: Neurodivergent people often have a piercing sense of justice and will call out unfairness, making them the enemy of toxic managers.
The 'Tone' Factor: Using literal language or a flat tone (Autistic trait) can be seen as "arrogance" by insecure colleagues.
The 'Efficiency' Factor: When we find a "smarter" way to do things, it can threaten co-workers who rely on rigid, slow traditions.

Building Your Legal and Mental Shield
If you are being mobbed, the first rule is: Stop gaslighting yourself. It is NOT your fault.
The Action Plan:
1. The Log: Save every email and write down every meeting. Labels like "rude" aren't helpful; stick to facts: *"On Oct 12, Manager said X in front of the team."*
2. Seek Allies: Find the one or two people who see what you see.
3. Internal Unmasking: Realize that your worth is not defined by a toxic boss.
If a workplace demands you hide your neurodivergence just to "survive," it is likely a sinking ship. Your genius is better spent somewhere that values your unique "Ferrari" speed.
