Understanding Neurofeedback and Its Benefits
Using real-time brainwave monitoring to train the brain for better regulation and focus.
Biofeedback for the Brain
Neurofeedback is a drug-free intervention where your brain "trains" itself through visual and auditory rewards.
How it works:
Sensors are placed on your head to read your electrical activity. You watch a move or play a simple game. If your brain is "Focused" (producing Beta waves), the movie/game plays normally. If your brain "Wanders" (producing Theta waves), the movie/game slows down or dims.
To keep the reward (the movie) going, your brain Subconsciously learns how to maintain the focused state. Over 20-40 sessions, this becomes a stable habit for the nervous system, leading to better focus and reduced hyperactivity in daily life.
