Rhythm, Timing, and the Interactive Metronome
Synchronizing cognition, attention, and motor skills with rhythm to increase the brain's processing speed.
Setting the Brain's Internal Clock
One of the most fundamental issues in SLD and ADHD is a glitch in the brain's Internal Clock. this leads to "time blindness," impulsivity, and processing information at an incorrect speed.
Interactive Metronome (IM) asks the individual to synchronize their hand or foot taps with millisecond-exact rhythms of a metronome. These exercises thicken the communication networks between the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

Not Speed, but 'The Right Speed'
Individuals with SLD may make errors because their processing speed is too fast (impulsive) or too slow. IM training doesn't teach you to "speed up"; it teaches you to "stay on rhythm."
As a result, reading fluency increases in dyslexia, while waiting tolerance and executive functions are strengthened in ADHD. It physically builds the brain's "stop and think" mechanism.
