Neuro-Inclusive Relationship Languages
Moving beyond 'Love Languages' to include sensory needs, parallel play, and info-dumping.
The 5 Neuro-Languages of Love
Standard "Love Languages" (like 'Quality Time') often assume a neurotypical way of connecting. For neurodivergent couples, we have our own list:
1. The Information Gift (Infodumping): I tell you everything about whales because I want you to know what makes me happy.
2. The Silent Presence (Parallel Play): I don't need to talk; I just need to feel your body-double energy nearby while I work.
3. The Executive Support: You paid my phone bill because you know my brain forgot. This is more romantic than flowers.
4. The Sensory Shield: You turned off the big overhead light because you saw me squinting. You are my safety.
5. Direct Truth: You don't use flowery hints; you tell me exactly why you love me in clear, logical terms.
