ND-Friendly Digital Toolbox
Choosing- the right apps and digital environments that support neurodivergent workflows instead of adding noise.
Building Your Digital External Brain
For a neurodivergent person, a computer is both a Superpower and a Trap. It gives you the tools to create, but it also hides 1,000 distractions behind every click.
The ND-Friendly Logic:
1. Stop using 'Folders': ADHD brains often struggle with hierarchy. Use Search-based systems (like *Obsidian* or *Apple Notes*). If you don't have to decide "Which folder this belongs in," you are more likely to write it down.
2. The 'Distraction Shield': Tools like *Freedom* or *Cold Turkey* are not signs of weakness; they are "Safety Rails." They prevent the 3-hour "Wikipedia rabbit hole" before it starts.
3. Visual Schedules: Apps like *Tiimo* use icons instead of text. Seeing a "Small Coffee Icon" is much faster for your brain to process than reading the words "Coffee Break."
