Benefits of Group Therapy for ADHD
Why 'Mirroring' in a group setting provides the fastest path to unmasking and shame-reduction.
The Magic of the 'Me Too'
Standard therapy is a 1-on-1 interaction. Group Therapy is a social "Sandbox."
For a neurodivergent person, the greatest source of pain is Isolation. In a group, when you admit you haven't done your laundry in a week, and three other people laugh and say *"Me too!"*, the Shame is instantly neutralized.
Social Skill Practice: You can practice saying "No" or asking for clarity in a room where everyone understands why that is hard for you.
Identity Affirmation: You see that people you *respect* also struggle with the same things you do. This proves that you can be "Capable" and "ADHD" at the same time.
