Initiated under the leadership of Clinical Psychologist Mustafa Varol Yorulmaz (@mv.yorulmazz) within the Beş Nokta Autism Life Association, the "GelCek Caravan Cafe" project is one of the most valuable rights-based social entrepreneurship models in this field.
Autistic individuals working in the caravan cafe, making coffee, tracking inventory, and managing order processes directly develops their fine and gross motor skills, alongside executive functions like sequencing and planning. This structured and supportive work environment strengthens youth's independent living muscles, while natural interactions with customers foster social acceptance in the most genuine way. A coffee enjoyed here is not just a break; it means actively participating in the societal integration and future of an autistic youth.
