'50 Tabs Open' Mindset: Thought Racing
The intense flow of thoughts experienced internally even without physical hyperactivity, mental hyperactivity, and cognitive paralysis.
Calm on the Outside, Hurricane on the Inside
The @adhdwithbest metaphor of "50 tabs open at once and it's not clear where the music is coming from" is the clearest definition of ADHD, especially the Inattentive-heavy (Internal Hyperactivity) type.
Even at moments when the person appears physically motionless (even sometimes dull) from the outside, their mind works at a terrible speed. A dialogue experienced in the past, what will be eaten in the evening, an unfinished project, and a song playing on the radio rush into the mind with equal priority in the same second (Racing Thoughts).

Cognitive Paralysis and Hidden Fatigue
The most destructive result of this situation is mental paralysis. The brain cannot decide which tab to focus on (Executive Function / Lack of Prioritization) and the system locks completely.
Even if no heavy physical work has been done at the end of the day, that massive exhaustion experienced (Neuro-Burnout) is exactly due to this background processor running at 100% capacity.
